History of the Cheese Burger The cheeseburger is a beloved classic that has stood the test of time. While its exact origins are debated, many credit Lionel Sternberger with inventing the cheeseburger in 1926 at his father’s sandwich shop, The Rite Spot, in Pasadena, California. Legend has it that a homeless man suggested adding a slice of cheese to the hamburger, and thus the cheeseburger was born. However, other sources claim that the cheeseburger was first served at Kaelin’s Restaurant in Louisville, Kentucky in 1934 or at the Humpty Dumpty Drive-In in Denver, Colorado in 1935. Today was a real stinker. I got to the gym a lot later than usual and some dude farted on me when I was slothing it up on the treadmill. But to start the day, I was at the library with my little one so she could borrow some Diary of a Wimpy Kid books and she thought it was a great idea to make a ton of noise in her ugly-ass Crocs. I hate those shoes with a passion, but she likes them, so Crocs it is. After that it was gym time and I popped over to get…

If you’re ever in South Jersey and have at least one working taste bud, then you’ll have to make a stop at AXO Restaurant which is a Mexican and Asian fusion place to eat in Lindenwold. I heard about them on social media when they were selling food off a truck at Clemonton Park, then they were selling tacos out of a garage and now they’re rocking in their own restaurant and it’s DAMN GOOD. I had the AXO tacos and let me tell ya, I can eat 69 wings at Hooters in one setting and finally be stuffed, or…

Garlic crabs may sound easy to make, but they’re kind of an art form when it comes to getting the mixture right. Let’s just say I can’t figure it out, so I hunt down places to get garlic crabs from and I’ve narrowed it down to three places that each have a different style of garlic crab and all three are really, really good. The first place, and probably my favorite, is American Crab Company just outside of northeast Philly. It’s in Bensalem, PA, off Route 1 and they use peanut oil and roasted garlic. It’s the greasiest thing you’ll…

UPDATE: it actually does work and I’m just an idiot. I did it wrong. DUH!!!!!!!!! Below is the original story I wrote before I realized I screwed the whole thing up because I misunderstood the assignment. Now I feel like a complete dumbass. Here’s how the food looked. My pictures suck as much as my reading comprehension or listening skills when it comes to making rice. I got slapped for this one in a Greek restaurant by the way. She whacked me good on the arm when we ordered those gyros. Pretty funny if ya ask me. Dating a Filipino…

A while back I saw a TikTok video where Gordon Ramsay was making his perfect scrambled eggs. He did a few things with the pot and the kicker was adding a spoonful of cream to the mix near the end. I thought it was weird at first, but it’s Gordon Ramsay and he doesn’t play around. And yeah, I have TikTok, but it’s mostly sports videos, people doing talent-less dances, and random foods I want to try but probably would screw up like most dishes. Today I finally tried it but I used light sour creme. Ramsay said creme and…
